type of RAM for k7s5a upgrade

I'm running a k7s5a (rev 1, latest BIOS) with a 512mB DDR 266 ram stick.
It's el cheapo Winbond BUDA84A, which is either PC2100 or PC2700.
If I want to upgrade to 1 gB, should I:

1. look for another 512mB stick of same brand and model,
2. buy PC2100 by someone like Kingston (US$89), or
3. buy faster rated memory (DDR 333 or 400) on the assumption that I can
use it in my next box. (This memory may actually be cheaper on the 'net
than the slower stuff.)?

In other words, will my mobo be happy with two mismatched sticks of ram?

Mine is :O)
256 meg and 512 meg generic.Running @ 143/143 cas 2.5 :P Fast memory
setting.
