Hey All....

Just upgraded my system from Pll-466 to Celeron 1.4 overclocked to 1.69GHz
and everything is running great. Was *finally* able to install WinXP and am
running Hpt bios - driver combination 1.28 - 1.25 driver with no problems
whatsoever.

Question: I've heard there is a 1.30 driver for Hpt366. Is there a 1.30 bios
update?...and if so would it be better to go with another bios - driver
update?. Just wondering if anyone with the BE6-ll mb has upgraded to 1.30
and got it working?.

Thanks.

How did you manage that? I had a nightmare with my BE6-II when I moved up
to XP even though I tried every combination of drivers possible. In the end
I had to stick my UDMA100 HD on the old UDMA33 cable/connector- those
drivers just aren't made for XP!

Ironically I've just bought a bundle of stuff and got a much better Promise
UDMA100 IDE contoller for free! But I've already dumped my BE6 for a lovely
nf7-s.
