Upgrade on 845GBV; 2G RAM support, 8x AGP support

hi,
i've used the 845GBV for several since late 2003 now. since then, i've
run with 256MB. i now plan to upgrade the memory; pump it up to 2GB
[local prices permitting]. the motherboard manuals indicate the board
was designed for, but not tested with, the full 2GB.
- will the motherboard support the full 2GB?
- the manual mentions support for 4x AGP; are there any known
backward compatibility problems using an 8x AGP on a board designed to
support 4x?
