Upgrade CPU XPS 400

Can someone guide me as to what CPU I can use to upgrade an Pent. D 930
dual core 3GHz?

I have been on the intel site comparing processors, but not sure what to
look for.

Do I lok for socket type, LGA, etc?

I upgraded long ago to the 3.4G D 945... Worked like a charm...

Was very reasonably priced at the time as well...

What was your reason for upgrading, and what benefits resulted?

It is the fastest chip to go in the MB, and it is cheaper than the 950
but gets the exact same results... I upgraded from the P4 3.0 MHz that
I bought with the system to go to the dual core....
