Is there a way to find out if your computer has at least 2.0 USB ? My
computer has an Intel Pentium 4 running at 1.7 GHz

Thanks.

www.usb.org has a FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) page
and that includes a question on "How do I tell if my
computer has USB?" along with a link to a free utility
that will inspect the details of your system and tell
you all about your systems USB capabilities, or lack of.

My computer specifies "Enhanced PCI to USB" in the Device Manager for
the USB 2.0 features on my mb.

Except, the utility does not tell you whether your USB is 1.1 or 2.0 or
anything else. The only thing it tells you is that your mb has USB!

check the specs of your model computer or mobo with the manufacturer
or included documentation.

FWIW also USB 2.0 boards aslo usually have special speed/legacy
compatibility settings in the BIOS setup program. The best thing todo
is look it up or rtfm

It could be 2.0 but is likely 1.1. That's not really enough info to
tell.
