USB File Transfer Cables?

Hi!
Santa brought me a set of USB File Transfer Cables for my to PC's. I
can now transfer files from one PC to the other, but.....

......I was unable to actually run a program on the remote PC, using
the host. Oddly, I can only do that with two solitaire games . Any
other time I try, I get DLL errors.

It doesn't make sense. The DLL's on the remote computer are still on
the same hard drive as the programs are. Yes?

My original purpose for using Transfer Cables was to install different
programs on each PC, so as not to overload the hard drives. See what
one does when one ASS-U-ME's
