Just a quick one - soundcard on board an ASUS NForce board seems to
have given up, so I was thinking since it ain't mine and doesn't get
any rigorous use, the easiest fix would be to just get a USB sound
solution instead.

Anyone know that this'll work - specifically, I was looking to steer
them towards these:

Surely USB speakers can't need an installed sound card as well?

Thanks

Although it is hard to believe at that price, it seems these
are the combination of USB soundcard, amplifier and speakers
that you expect.
