Vostro 1500 sale

The Vostro 1500 is on sale for $649 with 120GB/2GB, which is a good deal
I think. Available with XP.

(It also comes with 3 or 4GB of ram at unremarkable additional cost)

Ubuntu isn't up to running the 1500 but wait a few months and they'll have
a working release, and then you can repartition and dual-boot it.

they just had a similar sale, same price, but with only the 80 GB drive, as
opposed to the 120 GB drive now.

Also, as you page through the Components, there is the Roxio Creator
software at $0 extra - but some weeks you have to _select_ it to get it

like a hidden bonus
