Hello,

Has anyone ever gotten Wake-On-LAN (WOL) to work with HP PCs? I have two
PCs, a 5160 and 7510 on my home network I have installed the AMD Magic
Packet software on both machine. I have enabled the "Wake up from S4" option
(which I thinks means the Hibernation state) in the BIOS, and enabled the
options "Allow this device to bring the computer out of standby" and "Allow
the computer to turn off this device to save power" on the network card's
power management.configuration tab.

When I hibernate the machine, the network card blinks at the back of the
machine, which seems to indicate that the network card driver is configured
correctly. But the machine never responds to the "magic packet". I've
cheked with Wireshark that the packet is sent on my home network.

Have anyone else any experience with this?

Thanks,
Paul
