Weird Dimension 8400 problem (beep but can't be turned on)

I was watching a movie @youtube.com; Suddently the computer gave 4
long beeps and shuts down… I pushed the button in front of the
computer to start it again, the computer again gave 4 long beeps, and
I heard a extrem loud sound (sounds like a Hard disk reading or fan).
There is nothing on the monitor, the monitor stays at stand by mode.

I waited for about 2 minutes, sound is the same-no progress. I pressed
the button again and it turned off.

I tried to turned it up again a couple more times but got same
result.

Has anybody come across this problem or know what the problem is?

Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Here's the beep codes, but four long isn't one of them.

I'd try reseating the memory and if that doesn't work try one memory module
at a time. After that, I'd try it without a hard drive.

Somethings failed and failed hard.
