Bought this Mac earlier in the year. It's using OSX (10.4.9). Shortly
after I bought it, I lost all Tab and Caps Lock functionality. (And
also, the tilde key doesn't work).

How can I restore functionality on these keys?

Thanks!

Brett

I'd suggest trying another Mac keyboard. If the characters come back
then the keyboard was fudged.

Otherwise, check your language settings to make sure you are using US
settings.

I had a similar weird keyboard problem when I first went OS X with Jag
on a g3. I ended up doing a clean reinstall, haven't had a problem with
the keyboard since.

Sometimes a USB Windows keyboard is easier to get. Besides the names
and positions of the two keys on each side of the space bar, what's the
difference?
