Win98 video drivers for Latitude C840

I recently purchased a Dell Latitude C840. I have some applications that
will only run under Win98, so I am installing that. I have been able to
install and I found the audio and ethernet drivers on the Dell website.
However, there are no Win98 video drivers for a C840 listed. The video is a
Nvidia GForce 440. I went to the Nvidia website and downloaded the driver
file from there. When I try to install it, it gets to a point and gives
this message:

"Setup was unable to locate a detected devices' PCI ID in NVAGP.INF. The
installation will be terminated."

How can I get around this? Or is there a different source for this driver?

I had a similar problem with my D600, but the ATI setup program
wasn't kind enough to tell me which .inf file it was looking at,
so I had to dig. After reading several .inf and .ini files, I
thought I had determined which one to try, and went into windows
manual driver install with the "have disk" option, selected the
..inf file, and started trying drivers whose descriptions were
the closest match. Three of the entries had identical names
(Radeon 9000), the first one didn't work, but the second did.
Something similar may work for you.
