I conected new flopy to my PC, (flopy is tested, cable also) green light is
on all the tame, may windows found floppy but don't read disk, say only "no
disk in flopy"
Also floppy doesn't make noise after reseting PC. What is wrong. My
mainboard ASRock

sounds like you need to flip the drive ribbon around. Either the
connection to the floppy drive is backwards or less likely the
connection to the motherboard is backwards.

hope this helps

I agree when ever you get the light showing all the time on ant drive
fixed or floppy it means the cables are around the wrong way , just
make sure the red line on the cable is on pin 1.

On the floppy cable there is a red stripe running down one of the
sides. Point that towards the power connector on the floppy drive.
Most of the time that assures that your floppy cable is connected to
pin 1.
