x346 : what IS the "first" NIC?

x346 server, built Redhat on it.

Configured eth0.

Cabling guy come today (I am remote from it now) and akewd which NIC to
plub his cable in.

I have no idea - there were 5 NICs it looked like on the back wheh I
had a glance.

So - what IS the "primary" NIC on a x346 physically...
leftmost/topmost?
