1TB External HDD With A8V Deluxe (USB)

    I have been trying to use a Maxtor 1TB OneTouch 4 Plus external hard disk drive via a USB 2.0 connection with my ASUS PCs. It works fine with the P4B533E and P4C800E Deluxe ones but not the A8V Deluxe where the supplied drivers are not recognized.

    Is there a bios problem with a 1TB device or is this most likely a board/case connector (Coolermaster Centurion) USB issue?

    What should I try first?
