    Hi,

I'm looking to upgrade my old AIW 128 Pro and had a few bad
experiences which I've never fully ironed out. Whats the video capture
like on this card? Any major/minor problems with compatabilties?
I've got an Epox 8K9a2+ board running an xp2200+ with a gig of ram. 3x
western dig 7200 rpm's on the highpoint controller and primary ide.
    not using raid at all.

The problem I've got with my current card is that i can't get vfw
"drivers" to work under win2k so can't use vdub and when I try video
capture in MMC i get horribly distroted audio regardless of the volume
settings. I had a search and saw the problem could be releated to the
onboard audio so I disabled that and put a soundblaster 128 in. same
prob. Anyone care to share their experience of video capture with the
9800SE AIW? should I shell out the £150 or go for something else?

I'll be primarily using it for video capture for archiving to svcd or
DVD, so high res at pal refresh rates (25fps)

    cheers
