Was having some issues with a logitech mouse using win2k svpk4 and a
    P2B with a 3dfx voodoo3 3500 video card using the usual hacked win2k
    drivers.

The mouse was stuttering and jumping when there was disk access going
on (large drives on a promise card). Esp just after boot up.

I was running the "large pointers scheme" for the mouse pointer in
    logitech's control application.

Changing the pointer scheme to "NONE" solved the stuttering and
    jumping issue for me (~98%).

Just a little heads up for others with similar issues.
