**** Post for FREE via your newsreader at post.usenet.com **** I have two motherboards, the Abit NF7 (ver. 2.0), and an Abit AN7. I can put my Athlon 2500 Barton and DDR 400 memory into my NF7, and get a decent overclock of FSB 185, multiplier at 11.5. However, if I put the same hardware into the AN7, I get no overclocking at all. Any mismatch from preset values gets me the two-tone siren, and a code of A.F. on the status display. This code isn't explained in any manual or website I've found so far... Any ideas why it would work in one MB, but not in the other? -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= *** Usenet.com - The #1 Usenet Newsgroup Service on The Planet! *** http://www.usenet.com Unlimited Download - 19 Seperate Servers - 90,000 groups - Uncensored -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
