A8N-SLI Deluxe & Creative Labs XtremeMusic/Gamer sound card?

Been thinking of getting either an XtremeMusic or XtremeGamer to
replace the inferior integrated sound on the motherboard, but heard
that this motherboard doesn't like the Nforce4-SLI chipset. Is this
true? Heard reports of incessant crackling & other audio anomalies
with this combo. Anyone here running one of these sound cards with
A*N-SLI and have problems? Or no problems? My main reason for
getting the CL Xtreme card is because I heard cpu utilization is much
less than the Realtek onboard, and since I'll be using my system for
gaming, I'd like to squeeze a few FPS out of it and avoid at least
some stutter caused by the on board sound solution.

I have been using XtremeGamer for about 6 months on an A8N32 SLI Deluxe
and have not had any problems.
