A8N5X and sata 2

    I am putting together a new PC for me. It has been about 7+ years sense last one I put together.
    M/B A8N5X
    AMD 3200
    memory 2G OCZ 3200 dual channel
    ordered form Monarch

    case Antec/SonataII 450 power supply
    a: driver sony
    c/d dvd R/W liteon
    video Asus EN7600GS 512m
    Hard drive WD2500KS.
    NEW windows XP home service pack2
    ordered from Newegg

    Did not realizes about sata and sata 2. Lot of little things I don't know.
    I am not going to use raid. Should I just let the MB and hard drive work it out in the bios together? Jumper the hard drive to make it sata? From what I have read so far it looks like if you don't use raid I want need to do F6 and install drivers.
    Does anyone know if MS Office 97 will work with Windows XP home.
