Abit NF-7 - Front Panel for Audio Jacks & Other Stuff?

I just got the Abit NF-7 motherboard to replace a fried KT7A-RAID. I'd like
to use the on-board sound to "abandon" my SB Live Platinum 5.1, but I love and
regularly use the Live Drive II that came with my SB Live. I especially use
the front headphone jack because (a) it's on the front, and (b) it has a 1/4"
phono jack, as well as all kinds of other inputs/outputs, including MIDI,
SPDIF, optical input/output, L/R RCA inputs, a front Microphone input, and an
IR Remote Sensor. Well, I've heard great things about the nVidia sound chips,
but does nVidia make anything similar to the Live Drive that will allow the
same flexibility as the SB Live Platinum 5.1 or better?

Also, the Abit specs on the website says that the NF-7 has 5.1 surround sound,
but somewhere I read that I can only use TWO speakers. What's the story?

    Thanks,

The outputs should be like on NF7-S:

    NF7 uses Realtek ALC650 5.1 sound controller.

You should use these drivers for the board:

    remember to read this:
