advice with new hard disk and a8v deluxe

    Hello,

    I'm having trouble setting up a new SATA hard drive with my A8V Deluxe. I have two IDE HDDs already installed and working well, and I would like to use the SATA as extra storage (no RAID setups). It's plugged in (power and SATA cord to motherboard), but the BIOS and windows doesn't detect it at all.

    Any advice for getting this new HDD working would be greatly appreciated.
