Airport Extreme Base Station - TCP Timeout

I am using an Airport Extreme Base Station as a NAT box for wired and
wirless computers on my LAN. It works quite well for this, but I have
one annoyance that seems typical with NAT implementations - it appears
to like to time out inactive TCP connections after 30 minutes or so.

I have a few TCP connections coming in and out of my LAN that go idle
for a while at times that I'd rather not get killed. Does anyone know
how to either increase the timeout value for TCP connections, or remove
it entirely? I can't figure out how to get at this, and whether or not
    it's a configuration option.

    Thanks!

In the AirPort Admin Utility there is a Network tab when you open up a
base station's configuration. Has the DHCP lease been somehow set to
less than the default 4 hours? Also, is your Extreme's firmware current
    (version 5.6)?
