Any Electronics Stores That Accept Old Laptop Batteries to Recycle?

To save a bunch of time on the phone with stores, have an 2+ year
old Toshiba lithium ion laptop battery that no longer works and
have replaced that would like to recycle rather than trash. The
county dump is some distance away. Much closer is Best Buy, Radio
Shack, Compusa, Office Depot, and Staples. Does anyone know if
any of these stores have a recycle program?

    Thanks,
    Scott

  2. Radio Shack accepts batteries for recycling, or at least they used to.
