Anyone know if there is a KD7 Raid MB with Firewire ??

I would like to purchase a KD7 Raid MB as it has all the features and slots I would like, however, I would like it to have Firewire as well..

Doe anyone know if Abit make such a beast ?? Any help greatly appreciated..

Onboard Firewire on the KD7 series? Haven't seen it. However, Firewire is easy and cheap to add. You can buy a Firewire card for something around $30, you can get a Sound Blaster Audigy card which has a Firewire port, or an ATI A-I-W 8500DV which comes with a Firewire port. I'm using both the sound and video card mentioned in my KD7 Raid, and they work fine.

Why not get a Nforce2 Ultra 400 based board?.....they are superior in every respect to the old KT400 (which has now been superseded twice by the KT400A and the KT600) plus they have the firewire you are looking for.
