Asian Operating Systems and Hardware

Discussion in 'Hardware' started by Alfredo Aguilar, Jan 24, 2004.

  1. Hello,

I am trying to find information about systems that run Asian operating
systems (i.e. Chinese, Japanese, and Korean Windows- 98 to XP).

I have experienced in setting up a version of Korean XP through VM
Ware software. For testing purposes I am trying to find out if there
would be some kind of lets say fundamental difference when running
Korean XP through VM Ware or actually installing that operating system
    in the machine.

I heard from some people terms such as, "Asian Hardware," but not much
further detail than that. That brings this questions, is there a sort
of fundamental difference between hardware used/sold in Asian
countries to the hardware here in the United States?

Any help on this is greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time.

    Alfredo
