Asus A88XM wont boot in W10 unless F2 is held

My Asus A88XM-A/USB3.1 wont boot into windows 10 unless i hold f2 during startup (to get into bios mode), then hit continue to startup. If i just let the machine start up normally, i get the black screen of doom. This has been going on for years, and i've tried messing around with various motherboard settings during startup, but no difference.
