Asus P4C800-E Deluxe & P4 3.4 Extreme Edition

    Hi,

    I have the asus p4c800-e deluxe board and have been trying to get this 3.4 extreme edition [gallatin core] to work with it. The processor is new and has been tested and it does get warm so i assume its ok, the board works ok as im using it now with a different cpu. But with the new cpu it wont boot, Ive flashed the bios with the latest 1024 version and back to the 1016 version which i have read should work with this cpu. I just keep getting 'cpu test failed' repeated over and over. Just wondered if anybody else may have had this problem or can help me....Thanks

    old setup i know but i use this pc on a daily basis and has been very reliable
