I have used this newly purchased mobo with both Windows 10 and Linux. When suspend to RAM is invoked, the computer does not resume but instead reboots.
Since this occurs with both Windows and Linux, it probably is not an operating system problem, but involves hardware or BIOS settings. I have used default BIOS settings and also turned off fast boot. I have an RX480 GPU and Vengeance DDR4-2666 RAM, but no really exotic hardware. I imagine that if this problem is to be solved it is likely to be a BIOS setting. (What?) Otherwise I'll just keep it from sleeping.
