Battery life of IBM T-40 with "ultrabay" battery?

    Hello,

    I'm wondering what battery life I might expect from a T-40 with a Pentium-M
1.6, 9 cell battery, and the optional Ultrabay battery. How many DVD's
will this thing play :) ? (Copied to the HDD first, of course).

This would be with an 80G drive and 1G ram, if it matters.

Also, I hear the 9-cell battery hangs out, what is the size penalty of that?
Since I rarely need a CDROM, could I run just on the Ultrabay battery, if
so what battery life could I expect? (I guess it would be uncouth to run
around with a big gaping battery hole though).

    Thanks!

www.tomshardware.com shows a picture of the battery hanging out. It's a LOT.
I'm waiting for a std battery.
