BIOS setup loads instead of OS at PC start

Hi When I start my PC the BIOS setup loads without me asking for it. I have to press ESC to leave the setup and start loading the OS. I have tried to look if it could be due to a setup problem but couldn't find anything like that. This problem has emerged recently and the system used to work without problems before. My config: Motherboard ASUS (in a HP Pavilion) Proc : Pentium 3,6 1G RAM how can I bypass the bios setup?
