Yesterday I went to update my BIOS from the MSI live update on windows. While i was updating it crashed right after it erased the main block...i got a blue screen error and was forced to restart. Once i restarted my computer would turn on but nothing would happen on the screen. THe LED's would stay solid for about 30 seconds than nothing would happen. I tried reseting the mobo wit the CMOS jumpers and battery. I have decided to disassemble the computer and replace the motherboard through MSI. Am I doing the right thing, does it sound like the board is just messed up? Also once i get the new board and re-connect everything, will everything remain the same as my hard-drive was not changed at all?
