    Hi,
    I wondering about this situation;
    A motherboard has a cpu speed upper limit when sold originally , and that
    limit is then adjusted upwards by a later BIOS update.
    I check on the net to find the CPU max speed.
    I find a reference to the current upper limit and get a CPU of that speed.
    Now if he motherboard had NOT had it's BIOS updated , what would happen ?
    Would the P4 be recognised as a slower CPU or not recognised at all ?
    I think i have that situation at present. No boot , silence -complete
    silence ......... :(

    TIA
    Denis
