i recently bought from bzboyz off of pricewatch.com some 256meg DDR ram, after i made the order, a day later they canceled my order, saying that there was a problem with the order, i went back to pricewatch.com for more memory, and noticed they were still selling the same ram, but upped the price by 5.00. so it is possible that they canceled my order so as not to take such a hit on the cost. i bought ram from PC Wonder.com and had no problems, it was shipped promptly with a free heatsink.
my other problem with bzboyz is a potential bait and switch, i ordered from them thru pricewatch.com a biostar motherboard combo with amd 2600 heatsink and fan, it was stated just like that on pricewatch.com, so i bought it and a day later, they put my order on hold, and called me, they said ooh, well that motherboard combo you bought should really have a factory CPU and a factory heatsink, we will give it to you at our cost, of 24.00 extra dollars, they also said that they would upgrade my shipping and test the motherboard. i dont know if they tested the motherboard, but they did send a AMD factory sealed amd 2600 and heatsink. the shipping was not upgraded, just regular ground. i think thats shifty, they advertised that i was going to recieve the biostar motherboard, an AMD 2600+ CPU and a cpu fan. why should they call me trying to get me to pay more for the same thing that they already advertise. what do you think about what they did?
