C610 120GB HDD format problem

I have recently bought a 120gb hdd for my c610 (latitude serie) and have made an BIOS upgrade (A16), however, installing the OS was nor problem, but unfortunately I can't format the second partion with OS features (I have one partion 35gb where the OS is installed and a second partion with about 80gb which I can't format)

has anybody a hint what to do?
