cant see sata dvd rom in windows with P4P800

RAID is turned off sata dvd rom detected in bios as "Forth IDE Master" In windows xp pro sp2, there is no such SATA Controller in device manager, can only see primary/secondary IDE and Ultra ATA 133 controller (which isnt sata im guessing) anyone know how i can get the sata controller installed in windows? the Southbride is apparently Intel ICH5
