Change Compaq Array Logical Drive Numbering

We are using a Compaq Array Controller 431 on a Proliant ML370. We
have a set of 3 disks (Single Raid 5 Array) which is set to Logical
Drive 2. A previous Array existed in the past which contained Logical
Drive 1 but that was removed some time ago. We need to add another set
of disks for a new Array to gain extra space, but when the new Array
and Logical drive is created it configures the new Logical Drive to
number 1. Being number 1 means the OS tries to boot from this new disk
and not Logical disk 2 where the OS actually resides.

We need the current Logical Drive 2 to become 1 and the new Logical
Disk 1 to become 2. Can we change the logical drive numbering?

    Thanks in advance
