I have created some users on a MacOSX 10.3.6 server.

I left the default short name that was created

eg User name = Testing Newuser -> Shortname = testingnewuser

however I now need to change this shortname. I cannot do it through
Workgroup manager as the default shortname is "greyed out".

Is there a command line way to make this change or do I have to recreate the
    user account

    TIA

  2. I think in WGM you can add a new shortname. The old one wil still be
there. If I remember, I'll poke around our server to see if I can figure
out how to get rid of the original shortname.
