Compact Flash in Toshiba T2100

Discussion in 'Laptops' started by petereasthope, Dec 14, 2005.

  1. Objective: there is space over the hdd in a Toshiba T2100
    to fit a CF-IDE adapter.

Problem: the hdd plugs directly onto the IDE connector
leaving no space for a ribbon cable. Any ideas to
solve this? Is there another IDE connector in there
    somewhere?

Can the BIOS in such a machine detect master & slave
    drives?

    Thanks, ... Peter Easthope
