Compaq evo question?

    I got a compaq evo 2ghz 512mb memory 120 hdd and it has a a nice hd video card that i hook up to my lcd but the mother has an onboard vga adpator for a monitor but windows doesnot pick it up is there some way i can turn it on or anything i will try everything! Thank You! I would like to have a daul monitor desktop!
