Compaq Presario 1200 Laptop Wont Start Up!!! Please Help!!

    Hi , I Was Given A Presario 1200 Laptop Cuz They Couldnt Start It Up.. When I Turn It On.. It Loads Up To The Windows Xp Screen... Then It Goes Back To The Compaq Screen And It Repeats It Untill I Get Frustrated And Turn It Off.... When I Go Into Bios Setuip It Asks Me For A Password Which I Dont Know Nor The Person Who Gave It To Me...does Anyone Have Any Solution To This?
