Connecting NF7-S to home stereo.

    Hi all,

How is the centre/subwoofer jack wired on the NF7-S? I am guessing
that is a tip-ring-sleeve with the center on one side and the
subwoofer on the other. If I plug in a standard 3.5 stereo to 2xRCA
lead, which (red or black) is center and which is subwoofer? Or is it
    something completely different?

    Secondly, I don't actually have a center speaker. I have a 4.1 stereo
system (left and right front, left and right surround plus subwoofer).
Am I better off using the 4 speaker config and letting my stereo do
the subwoofer separation, or can I configure the PC to redistribute
the centre channel to the front left and right and just leave the
    centre channel jack diconnected?

Thanks for any ideas and experiences.

    Matt

    Have you tried the manual?
Why not use the optical output? Then you don't have to worry about more than
    one cable...
