acer aspire 6530\r\n\r\nok, classic 'im stupid and used windows to flash bios' story. needless to say flash fails, bios corrupt and nothing but flashing power light on reboot.\r\n\r\nok so i google it find the crisis program ..... check\r\nfind another version of crisis by hp, downloaded it too ..... check\r\ndownload 3 different versions of the bios off acers website ...... .check\r\nusb floppy drive ..... check\r\nfloppy disks....... check\r\nmake boot disk using acer's crisis prog....... check\r\nreplace BIOS.WPH with new downloaded BIOS...... check\r\nremove battery, plug in AC ....... check\r\nhol Fn+ESC and turn on laptop ........ check\r\n\r\nfloppy drive is accessed for about 4 min. then lights go off on floppy drive\r\nlaptop never does anything after that, no reboot nothing\r\n\r\nafter manual reboot back to square one, no POST nothing\r\n\r\nI've used all three versions of the bios off Acers website. I've tried making the disk with HPs software. I get the exact same results every single time.\r\n\r\nwtf am i doing wrong.
