My first post on the forum. I do not have a lot of new or high end gear. Recently I got the Asus Prime A320M-K. The first thing I did was to make a repair disk in case of the need to run
Windows 10 Repair from a crash, power out or mishandling something (usually my error in hot plugging.).

The Repair disk command prompt went to CMD ok and I could run bootrec /fixmbr
However I could not run bootrec /fixboot.

This led to what I don't know about UEFI HD BIOS. I've seen one discussion of repairing a partition here:
    https://woshub.com/how-to-repair-deleted-efi-partition-in-windows-7/

But in the brief pamphlet manual that comes with the board (it was bought new) it mentions on the last page that Launch EFI shell from available USB device is an option (shellx64.efi.)

I'm just trying to understand what is needed to do a system repair if boot fails on this ASUS A320-- something I knew how to do in Win7 with earlier MSI's.
