dell 17" LCD keeps going into sRGB mode (too bright)??

    I have a 17" Dell LCD monitor that has several color mode:
    9300K
    6500K
    sRGB
    User Preset

    User Preset is what I want. But everytime the monitor is turned off (either
    power off or in sleep mode), there is about 30% chance it would wake up and
    go into sRGB mode, which would be too bright. Then I would have to lower the
    contrast, which automatically puts it into user preset mode.

    What do I have to do to keep it in the user preset (custom) mode?

    I have another dell 20" LCD monitor and it does not have this problem.
