dell 5000e won't power up

    I have 2 dell inspiration 5000e's model PPM. with adapter plugged in I get 1 green light. The center one of three I think it is the battery indicator. No power any where else no harddrive noise no case fan.
    I tried reseting unit using dell's instructions which call for all drives to be removed but can't figure how the floppy comes out.
    Any suggestions on what to look for to get them to power up?
