OK here is the issue. The laptop works OK with A/C power, The power supply CHARGES the battery OK, when I disconnect the A/C power the battery will work fine however when I shut down and try to turn back on using only battery power the computer will not power up unless I disconnect the battery for an instant and put it back then it will turn on and work normally until I shut down again. Has anyone experienced this before.
The battery is NEW OEM as is the charger.
