Okay, I have a Dell Dimension 3000, with Windows XP Home Edition. I recently took out the 80 GB Harddrive to install on another PC. I deleted the partition and wiped it clean for the new computer. However, now I wish to reinstall Windows and use it with my old computer. But I seem to be having problems with the reinstallation process. Everytime my PC starts "Setting up Windows" or, from what it seems, reading the XP OS Disc. My USB ports become inactive and I can't use my keyboard. Can anyone tell me what's wrong? Is there something I can do before running the disc or...?
