Dell Inspiron 6000 Screen Brightness

    Whenever I plug my laptop in, the screen suddenly becomes dimmer. I don't understand because I have used other laptops that do the exact opposite (i.e. become dimmer when unplugged). I have tried searching through my settings and can't seem to find out how to change it. Help me please?
