Hi All, I have a system as above and when I press CTRL <M> to enter the
RAID config menu (RAID BIOS) it does nothing. Any suggestions would be
    appreciated. Thank You.

  2. you are doing this during post (power on self test), as the system is
starting and the message appears stating how to enter the raid bios?

Are your SCSI channels configured for RAID within the servers bios ?

  4. Hello,
Which firmware? Have you tried to update if possible? Can you change
between SCSI and Raid mode in BIOS?

Thanks everyone for your input and sorry about the delay. I'm new to
RAID and should have realised I had given too little info. The answers
to questions asked are as follows:
    CTRL <M> attempted during POST.
No, I have not updated firmware - too afraid.
    Yes, SCSI configured as RAID.
I did however swap between SCSI and RAID (as no data on the server is
critical at this time) and I've now ended up with all (five 36G) drives
flashing at me - both indicators, which I believe indicates a drive
problem (which I doubt). Possibly a PERC 4/DI controller failure?

If the data is not critical, there's not much risk at all in trying to
    update the firmware...

Is the system, by any chance, still under warantee??

Hi Hank, Unfortunately it's out of warranty - thanks anyway. I'll try
    the firmware.
